Development Statistics of Sindh, is regular Publication of the Bureau of Statistics which contains statistical information on socio-economic sectors of the Sindh province. Current volume 2001 is sixteenth in series containing data upto 1999-2000 for most of the sectors. It is hoped that this publication would serve as a useful reference material to planners, administrators, policy makers, research scholars and others interested in socio-economic development of the Province.

The assistance extended by various agencies at federal and provincial levels in supplying data is gratefully acknowledged.

Suggestions for improvement of future issues will be gratefully acknowledged and appreciated.
