"Twenty Five Years of Sindh in Statistics" is published by the Bureau of Statistics with the objective of disseminating information useful for policy makers, research workers and the general public on socio-economic aspects of the Province.

This publication provides information on achievements and developments in statistical terms during last over 25 years of Sindh. The book contains historical data on climate, population, agriculture, livestock, fisheries, forestry, food storage, industry, electricity, gas, transport, communications, public finance, education, health and crimes sectors. It contains data collected and processed by the Bureau of Statistics and number of other statistical series whose collection and processing is undertaken by provincial government departments, semi-government agencies and associations, their cooperation is acknowledged.

This publication is printed under the auspices of Federal Bureau of Statistics, whose help is thankfully acknowledged.It is hoped that this publication will serve the needs of policy makers, research workers, students and other interested groups.
